This all-black Nike J Force 1 Low LX SP was made in collaboration with French fashion label Jacquemus and has a sleek design that looks unlike any other sneaker around. Premium leather forms the upper, which has the forefoot mudguard, rear overlay, toe box, midfoot and eyestay panels associated with the AF1. Lines of perforation holes create a fanned pattern across the toe, and dual lines of stitching connect the overlays to the sections between them. J Force 1 branding appears beside a Nike swoosh on the black tongue label, while a silver lace lock with JF1 lettering etched into it sits at the toe end of the eyestay.

Stretchy black mesh fills out the inner lining and insole, which features a grey swoosh beside Jacquemus text. The same dual branding has been debossed into the black heel panel, and the laces have leather tags on the end that are imprinted with swooshes. On the flanks, the Nike logos are elegant silver ticks that rest in the centre of the midfoot panels, giving the shoe a luxurious feel. Meanwhile, the bottom edges of these midfoot sections are lined with additional leather overlays to create a durable platform for the new-look sole to be woven into.

Black lacing has been used to hand-weave the sole to the upper, a Nike-branded leather tag emerging from its lateral heel. This lends the sneaker a one-of-a-kind appearance, while the sole has a waffle-like tread that emulates other renowned Nike designs. Between its square-shaped nodes, the word “Jacquemus” has been embossed into its rubber surface. In order for the text to be imprinted correctly into soft surfaces as the wearer walks, it has been written in reverse, thus completing the stand out look of this sneaker.
