Nike Air Force 1 Mid '07 x Supreme x NBA

Nike teamed up with Supreme and the NBA to create this remarkable Air Force 1 Mid ‘07 x Supreme x NBA. It rests upon a solid, Air-cushioned sole unit that comes all in black. Forming the foundation is the classic outsole, with its pivot-circle grip patterns and lugged edges ensuring good control underfoot. The midsole then adds softness to cushion the foot through a combination of encapsulated Air and foam padding.

The upper continues the black theme across its premium leather panels. There is a forefoot mudguard surrounding the perforated toe box, the curvy edged heel overlay, the usual overlay extending from the forefoot to the top of the mid-cut collar and the midfoot panels on either flank. Dual branding appears on the black ankle strap that crosses over the front of the shin as Supreme text has been embroidered into its central section in a brightly contrasting white, and a black swoosh decorates its Velcro-fastened end. A large black leather swoosh mirrors this on the sidewall below, with another on the opposite flank. At the back of the shoe, these connect to a triangular heel panel that has black Nike Air text sewn into it.

More branding for both companies shows up across the design, firstly through the silver lace lock, which has “AF-1” etched alongside Supreme text and the year of the sneaker’s release – 2018. At the opposite end of the laces, there is a white tongue patch with Nike Air lettering in black above the famous red Supreme logo. Within the shoe, more bold red tones cover the insole, which has been printed with further sets of branding for both Nike and Supreme. Back on the outer, the shoe’s sleek black surface is covered with the colourful emblems of different NBA teams, giving it a dynamic look. Completing this striking sneaker is one last appearance of the Supreme logo, which is mixed in amongst the recognisable NBA graphics.
