Nike Air Force 1 '07 SE

This gleaming pair of Air Force 1 ‘07 SEs is constructed from polished leather panels with an eye-catching sheen. An icy blue outsole starts things off, its circular tread being made of a translucent material that partially reveals the white of the midsole above it. This effect is most pronounced around the edges, where sections of white can be seen behind the lugs and star formations that complete the outsole’s grip patterns. The midsole is almost entirely white – only the Metallic Silver Air lettering and its accompanying band of embossed rubber, which reaches all the way round the lateral heel to the medial midfoot, deviates from this.

The theme of Metallic Silver on a white background continues over the upper, whose midfoot panels have taken on the latter colour, with the former filling out most of the rest. Either side of these areas, glossy Metallic Silver sections appear in the vamp, the rear overlay and the swooshes. Black enters the mix via the eyestay, laces, tongue and inner lining, creating a compelling contrast against the lighter tones seen elsewhere on the sneaker. The foot of the eyestay holds a patch of Metallic Silver material that is almost as reflective as a mirror, while similarly luminous Nike Air branding highlights the black tongue and heel panel. Silver droplet-shaped pieces with a matte surface surround the uppermost eyelets to bring a final chic touch to the design, before the insole displays bright white Nike Air text on a black background for a standout look.
