Jordan 11 Retro Low

Elegance and vibrancy combine on this Jordan 11 Retro Low, making it a tremendously appealing sneaker. Known as Cherry thanks to its stunning Varsity Red colouration, its foundational feature is a translucent outsole with a wavy edge and curvaceous grip lines to match. When added to the herringbone tread patterns pressed into the Varsity Red pods in the forefoot and heel, these provide the wearer with excellent traction and a solid footing. Behind this, a supportive, lightweight carbon fibre plate can be seen, its centre marked with a bright white Jumpman. The rest of this durable structure comes in a dark grey colour with lighter sections creating a subtle honeycomb design across it. With this delivering a solid base, the white midsole takes care of the wearer’s comfort, doing so via a blend of spongy Phylon foam and bouncy Air cushioning that runs the full length of the shoe.

Resting atop this sole unit is an upper of two layers – one a gleaming patent leather mudguard shaded in more radiant tones of Varsity Red, the other an elegant white ballistic mesh. The last material extends over the tongue as well, while the heel panel is made from smooth white leather. A mini Varsity Red Jumpman logo has been embroidered into the centre of the heel, for a compellingly colourful highlight. Just above this, the number 23 has been printed in black onto the white heel tab, which itself is connected to the soft white fabric that lines the interior of the shoe. In fact, with the exception of the Varsity Red Jumpman on the heel and the black patch on the back of the tongue, which also contains a smaller one of these logos, the entire inner is white.

Back on the outer, a webbed lacing system consisting of a series of white bands that stretch over the upper to form looped eyelets along the edge of the tongue holds the cylindrical white laces in place. Then, a white patch has been sewn over the centre of the tongue, slightly off-white Jordan and Jumpman text woven through it. Sat between these words is one last Varsity Red Jumpman silhouette, thus completing this eye-catching sneaker with a radiant flourish.
