Nike Air Force 1 Shadow SE

The raised midsole on this pair of AF1 Shadow SE sneakers elevates the dynamic look to be found across the design. While the vamp features muted tones of Barely Green and Platinum Violet through its pair of overlays, bolder effects decorate the quarter and heel. On top of the smooth white leather of the midfoot panels, different swoosh designs have been set out. The medial flank contains a single Platinum Violet leather swoosh, before the other side creates a lively impression through a duo of swooshes with jagged edges. The first, a black logo with a pebbled texture, lies over a second holographic one that reveals a deep shade of blue and white stitching within.

Each Nike logo extends back over Barely Green heel overlays to meet at a Platinum Violet panel with the word “nike” embroidered into it in the same colour and a surface full of circular dimples. Underneath this is a secondary heel tab in rich burgundy with black branding. This connects to a blue fabric that rings the collar before arriving at the eyestay, which, like other elements of this design, has two layers. The lower of these is Platinum Violet and the upper white. A similar neutral tone reoccurs in the toe box, across the sole unit, along the lace dubrae and through the laces. These tie up over a lime green tongue with an intriguing dual patch arrangement which sees the two interspersed in black and white with pixelated branding text over the top.

To balance out the colour surrounding it, the interior of the shoe consists of a flexible mesh material that is completely white except for a final touch of branding in the form of pixelated Nike lettering and a swoosh in black. Faint AF1 text has been imprinted into the lace lock and the toe end of the eyestay to complete the elegant look of this sneaker.
